• Itraconazole (1.00%): A leading antifungal agent belonging to the triazole class. It works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This makes Oviderm-TB effective against ringworm, athlete’s foot, and yeast infections.

• Clobetasol Propionate (0.05%): A high-potency corticosteroid. Its primary role is to reduce the “symptoms” of the infection—itching, redness, and swelling. The formulation is stabilized with Methyl Paraben (0.20%) and Propylparaben (0.025% w/w) as preservatives to ensure the cream remains sterile and effective throughout its shelf life.
